Ancient Literature and People

1. Some similarities between cultures are that they all had a language and writings included in their culture. They all also had kings ansd slaves. The differences are that they came around and established differnet things at different times. They also had their own rules and laws. They also had their own religious beliefs.

2. A major priciple point is the status of women. They were treated differently then the males. The sons were favored over the daughters and the women had to follow more strict rules and morals. Though the men had many wives the women usually get to choose the man she would marry. But the girls were aloud to go to school. Brides could be as young as eight and the warriors were aloud to murder her family and abduct the girl. Women wern't aloud to own property or displease their husbands even after deaf.
