Virginia Tech Tragedy

What a crazy thing to do. What made this man want to do somethng of this sort? I cant believe he was aloud to keep attending that school even though there were warning signs with his behavior. The plays he wrote and even showed to other stdents and it wasn't reported, even the knowing of his strange past. Its just so disappointing to know that anything can happen, when your least expecting it. Also its strange how someone you know and go to school to with can swith up and do somethng out of this world.

Homosexuality

I don't there is anything wrong with being gay. You cant change the way you feel. If you love someone it shouldn't matter what there sex is if that's the way you feel. All that matters is that you love them and the one you love treats you the way you want to be treated. Everyone has their own opinion but I think and feel that you should always follow your heart and not let others stop you or change the way you are and feel. Do what you yourself feels is right for you and don't let what others say effect the way you feel.

A Typical Day At School For Me

• I usually get up at 6:30 then I pick up my two favorite seniors, that attend Booker High. Then we head to the school.
• 
  I attend my favorite class first period which is ASL II (sign language).
  
• Then I go to my least favorite class Biology Honors, I do not enjoy this class most of the time.
  
• I then go to English II, I really enjoy the teacher and teaching methods that are used in this class.
• 
  My last class is Geometry its okay sometimes. Then I go home do homework and go to work.

Songs That Celebrate

1. I think the relationship between humans and gods found in the praise songs is that the gods create the world in which the humans live. But I also think that the gods are trying to inform humans about death and that it will come some day and that there is life after death.

2. I think the tone of the praise songs are that of some kind of worship. The songs also seem to have a slow pace and show that the creation of the world is celebrated.

3. I like Oshun, the praise song that talks of the river goddess. I like that this praise song because it talks of her wisdom in which is shared. It also says that she is a cure and good for all. It talks of the beautiful water which is helpful to every person and all of nature.

Teen Parents

Teen parents have alot of responsibility. Taking care of a baby leaves no time for anything else. All your time must be for your child you can no longer do everything for yourself. They may not have much time for school and may have to join parenting program. You will have no experience as a parent because you are still a child yourself. Having a child costs a lot of money. Both parents would have to work to support the baby just for its basic needs. Young teen parents would no longer have time for being with friends or doing things that they used to have time for. They will be tired and have to continue caring for this child until they are young adults. Though this may be a difficult task it is possible and young teen parents will just have to hope for the best.

Rain Clouds

The centarl conflict in the story is that a man named Makhaya escaped from where he was and he becomes a fugative. On his journey he comes across an old hag and her young grandaughter. He stayed in the huts in which they live. Some of the main characters are Makhaya, Cheif Seketo, Cheif Matenge and Gilbert Balfour. Some attributes from Gilbert are that he is very smart because of his methodshe uses when helping people, and he is caring and allowed Makhya work with him. THe plot summary is when Makhaya who is the fugitive escapes and regesters as a resident in the town in which he is now staying. The cheifs of the town are very suspicius about the man and they want to keep a close eye on him. Even though he gets a job and is working in the feild with Gilbert.

A Drop Of Milk

1. A question I have about this myth is how did this come around as a creation myth.

2. That the world was created by a large drop of milk.

3. With each event something comes along to defeat it. Like blindness defeats man by making him go to sleep and you can't see when you are sleeping and each one just overcomes the other.

4. Gueno came to defeat death because he was the only one that could defeat death.

5. You find that there is always a series of events that go on that messes up the first or it can help it.

6. If the man had not been so proud maybe people wouldn't have been selfish. Man would be more willing to help others insted of themselves.

7. In Fulani hey used would was first used to create the earth which was rain. They showed a picture of Popul Vuh they used what the story was really about which was the floods and the arks.

8. Death exsit because that would mean that nothing would go away and if we were still growing in number as a people, where would everyone go or fit.
